Meet the Founder


Latecia “Tish” Hankerson is a second-generation salon professional and educator with 28 years of experience specializing in curl care, textured-hair education, and the professional development of beauty professionals.

She established Curls & Texture U™ to create a supportive, informed learning space where stylists and everyday individuals can develop the confidence, cultural awareness, and technical and professional skill required to care for curly and textured hair with excellence.
